Just a quick note to say that I’ll be out of the office from April 29-May 7.  We’re headed to Hawaii to shoot a wedding!  I’ll be responding to emails when I return. =)

Here’s a photo taken at Pali Lookout the last time I was in Hawaii.  I am soooo looking forward to having shave ice, poke, malasadas, avocado, pineapple, & Hawaiian Sun!

Just barely 2 weeks old. So tiny & adorable!

I did a family/maternity session with Tracey a couple of years ago when she was about to have baby #3…..now Reille makes #4! Welcome to the world, Reille!

On the day of Jennifer and Edgar’s wedding, things ran a little behind schedule (what wedding doesn’t run a little late?) and there ended up being very little time & light to shoot portraits with just the two of them.  I was a little bummed we didn’t get a chance to shoot very many bride & groom portraits since that’s one of my favorite parts of the day (and because Jennifer and Edgar both looked sooo good), so I asked them if they’d like to do an After Session.  They said Yes!, and Edgar even rented a tux again for the shoot.  And it just so happens that on the day we shot their After Session, Jennifer and Edgar were celebrating their 4-month wedding anniversary!

I invited a couple of my photographer friends out to come shoot with me that day because I thought it’d be a good chance for us to collaborate & learn from one another.  It’s always fun to see how other photographers work and approach things.  Thanks Alice, Connie, & Jean for joining me that day!  Had a great time shooting with you girls!

I also have to say a great big THANK YOU to Genie of Petit Plume for providing some lovely handmade hair accessories for the shoot, and Euri of Fleuretica for designing the gorgeous bouquets & boutonnieres.

There’s a second couple we photographed that day as well, so stay tuned…I’ll be posting their session soon!

Yesterday Jeremy and I celebrated our 2 yr anniversary. I can’t believe we’ve been married for two years now! Feels like just yesterday we were walking down the aisle.

Jeremy surprised me with dinner on the Queen Mary last night!

I don’t think I ever blogged any images from our honeymoon, so I’ll share a few here.  We honeymooned on the Cook Islands and it was absolutely amazing!  The beaches were gorgeous and the water was so stunningly blue & warm!  Loved it!

Being driven down an unfamiliar, long, and winding road doesn’t always end well. I literally kept yelling in the car, “Where are we?! Where are you taking me?!” Thankfully, my friend Alice only had good intentions and she brought me to the most amazing ranch to help photograph her friend Lisa.

Lisa is the owner of Condor’s Nest Ranch in Pala, CA. It’s a beautiful ranch, full of the sweetest animals, and Lisa & her husband Bob are quite possibly the nicest people ever!

Lisa & Bob open up their ranch for weddings, so if you are looking for a unique venue, check out their website.

Not only is Lisa so so sweet, she’s also gorgeous!

They have the cutest little greenhouse on their ranch!

I love that Lisa was not afraid to get “down & dirty” with her pigs….all while in her dress & heels!
