Feels like just yesterday I photographed Cayden’s newborn session.  He’s grown so much in just a few short months!

So many people I know have been having babies lately….past brides, college friends, wedding industry colleagues!  This is Miles at just about over 2 weeks old.  His mom Vanessa and I went to college together and it’s so exciting to see her starting a family now!

I LOVE proposals!  Just last night we were watching The Dilemma (we had a free rental from Redbox) and I totally teared up when Vince Vaughn’s character proposed.  No matter how simple or elaborate, proposals are always so exciting & sweet!

I was excited to be a part of Kevin’s proposal.  Kevin planned to propose at Huntington Library, but he needed a way to get her there.  So he enlisted her boss to fabricate a story about “meeting some donors” at the Huntington Library, and then asked a friend who worked at the library to meet her at the front and escort her to the “meeting”.  My job was to hide out in the rose bushes and capture the proposal.  As Lulu approached the rose garden, Kevin walked out and surprised her!

Loving this After Session with Paula & Kyle!  Their wedding day was a rare rainy day in LA, so we didn’t get a chance to take as many pictures outdoors as we would have liked.  So we headed back to Richard Nixon Library for an After Session.  It actually almost rained again that day, but thankfully the rain gods held off a little till after we finished the session!  And the rain clouds created some beautiful soft light!
