Sherry & Alan recently married, and to celebrate they invited family to an intimate wedding reception at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills.  The SLS has such amazing decor and I’m absolutely in love with it!  Enjoy a few pictures from their lovely celebration!

The hors d’oeuvres looked amazing!  Mini philly cheese steaks + foie gras cotton candy!

I’m so so happy for my brother-in-law and new sister-in-law, Jon & Alyssa!  The two married in a sweet ceremony at the beautiful Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles.  There were so many times I wanted to cry throughout the day…as Alyssa got ready in the bridal room, as my hubby Jeremy walked his mom down the aisle at the start of the ceremony, and as Jon & Alyssa both teared up as they exchanged vows.

A big, big thank you to Alice Hu & Jean Tsai for shooting with me that day!  So grateful to have them both there to help me capture the day!

Alyssa gave all her bridesmaids Juicy Couture bracelets!

Had such an amazing time in Maui for Karen & Greg’s wedding!  Here’s a sneak peek from their After Session.

Loving this engagement session with Donna & David!  David is a firefighter in Hollywood so they wanted to do part of their engagement session at David’s fire station.  Then we headed nearby to Griffith Park for a little change of scenery.

Gotta love Donna’s shoes!

A little picnic at the park.  Donna actually handmade the quilt they’re sitting on as a gift for David a while back.

Loved all the cute props they brought!

The sunset made the sky look so pretty!

Back in May, Alice and I headed to the US Virgin Islands for a wedding.  It’s gorgeous there!  The water is sooo blue (although while we were there it was a bit rainy so we didn’t always get to see it at it’s bluest).  We especially loved the island of St. John and it’s beautiful beaches!

Here are a few photos from our trip.  Looking forward to going back with Jeremy in January!

Magen’s Bay

Found this old wall and loved the way it looked with its many textures and layers of peeling paint.

Enjoying a sunset cruise around the island

There were smoothie shacks all around the island.

Funny story about this coconut…..we were walking down the street at night and Alice pointed out this guy walking past holding a coconut.  He heard her commenting on the coconut and asked her if she wanted it.  She told him she had no way of opening it.  Next thing we know, he had pulled a big machete out of his pants and was hacking away at the coconut!  It was so random!  But we enjoyed the coconut!

Poor guy’s boat flipped due to the rainy weather
